This beautiful summers wedding was a pure joy to be a part of. From bridal prep right till way after the first dance, it was just so much fun to be there and capture everything. Courtenay and Chris did all the legal bit in the morning and then had a celebrant wedding ceremony in the afternoon at a beautiful private home in the Cotswolds with all their friends and family.

I was contacted by Courtenay thanks to the lovely Polly who owns the awesome mens clothing shop James Lear of Arundel in Nailsworth. C & C's wedding was planned perfectly and a big part of that was thanks to the amazing wedding planner Kate of Jump The Broom. Kate was a joy to work with and one of the best planners I have come across so far. One of the must get shots before the ceremony that I was asked to get was a special surprise gift for Chris from his soon to be wife. He was given a gift of a watch in the morning but this was not the watch he had shown a lot of interest in, it was in fact a decoy gift. The donor watch was actually one of his groomsmen's watch that he had not even worn himself yet. The time came and the actual gift was planted in this jacket pocket before the ceremony and Courtenay was hidden around the corner to watch his reaction. You will see the shots below of how that unfolded. Needless to say, Chris was a very happy groom and he got the watch he always wanted. Bonus points for Courtenay. All captured on video also by the talented Elliot from Lion Island Media who was great to work alongside.

Garden games, beer pong, adult sized ker-plunk and delicious food supplied by Bison Kitchen was a great way to keep everyone happy, entertained and fed. One of my favourite moments was watching some space hopper action. A few laughs were had at the expense of someone, I will say no more. The stunning wild flowers, bouquets and tipi dressing was all thanks to the talented Grown & Foraged Gatherings. The evening was kicked off by The Somebody's who were awesome and every now and again were joined by one of the bridesmaids for a little duet. The guys partied hard into the night and I drifted off and left them to it. A great couple, great family and friends and a pleasure to be a part of.
